Shogun (late renamed Samurai Swords around 1995) was a board game released in 1986 by game maker Milton Bradley as part of their Gamemaster series. Placed inside feudalistic Japan, players take control of a fictitious warlord & pit their armies against 1 an additional within hopes of winning the title Shogun. Along using Axis and Allies, Samurai Swords is still existence made as of 2004.
Around 1988, Shogun won the Origins Awards for Best Pre-20th Century Boardgame of 1987 & Right Graphic Presentation of the Boardgame of 1987 .
